Gin is not the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Scotland. Sure, Hendricks is well-known, but the land of St. Andrew is naturally associated with a more peaty, amber libation.

Caorunn is trying to change that by making its American debut in New York City. While Caorunn is here, it’s running a contest for NYC bartenders and mixologists to make a “uniquely New York” cocktail with their gin. That’s one way to make an entrance.
