DnU Night Out Wrap-up

What a night! Last Thursday, The Cortland in Bay Shore hosted our first DnU Night Out, and we had a great time. We gave away t-shirts, gift certificates to The Cortland, a bar spoon, and a special prize—two tickets to the Spring Craft Beer Festival at Nassau Coliseum. Lucky reader, Matt S of Farmingdale, ran the trifecta, winning those tickets, a gift certificate, and a t-shirt, but, unfortunately, didn’t get the bar spoon.

We tapped out our special keg of Blind Bat Hells Gate, but had a reserve of Blind Bat Hells Porter to fall back on. Our good friend, Rich(e)rich, provided the funk all night.

It was a great night, and we can’t thank Bobby G from The Cortland enough for his generosity. I’d also like to thank Mike Clarity for introducing me to Bobby and getting the ball started on our first event. Of course, Melba and I want to thank our readers who came down and made it a Night Out to remember.
