  • Noon–7pmMoustache Brewing Co., 400 Hallet Avenue, Riverhead, NY

On September 8th 2014 we brewed our 42nd batch of beer. It was a barleywine, but not the one that’s in this bottle. That one went into a wine barrel, and that story was on a previous label. In this bottle may be the answer to life, the Universe and everything, but that may be too bold of a statement. What we can tell you is that it’s a big beautiful barleywine that drinks in much the same way that water doesn’t. It may also be of some note that it rested in a South American Rum barrel for 532 days. You may enjoy this now, but you may also want to cellar it to enjoy just before the planet is demolished to make way for a hyperspatial express route. Don’t panic.

“I’ll just set my bourbon and advocaat down right there.” – Jack Torrance

Here’s Johnny! You know the movie by now—REDRUM, “all work and no play make’s Jack a dull boy,” that bizarre scene with the man in the bear suit, the ghosts of the hotel bar that inspired this very event—but no number of views is sufficient either to untangle the mystery of the Overlook Hotel or to dull the senses to the horrors Kubrick conjures with his modernist soundtrack and roaming Steadicam. Whether you see it as an outlandish conspiratorial moon landing confession or an allegorical genocide story, or a more earthbound depiction of the horrors of patriarchy taken to its logical extreme, there is one thing we can all agree on: it never gets old.

Each ticket comes with a glass of Jack Daniel’s on the rocks and a serving of Advocaat.

We are excited to announce the return of Snügg. If you recall, when we’ve released these bottles in the past, they've sold out pretty quickly! Be sure to grab one to enjoy this winter.

This ale is inspired by the Scandinavian mulled wine called glögg that Matthew’s mom makes every year for cold winter nights. Snügg is held in a twice used barrel, first by port then by rye. Port wine and rye whiskey are the two main ingredients in mom’s glögg, so this barrel was perfect!

It's accompanied in the barrel by oranges, lemons, raisins, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. We follow the spice blend that our family has been using for years. It is best enjoyed fireside with a blanket during a cold night or snowstorm.

    - Bottles are $17 each
    - Limit of 4 bottles per person
    - Snügg will also be on tap!

Join us this April for New York's Largest Craft Beer Festival and the Largest Single-State Craft Beer Festival in the Nation!

TAP® New York has grown over tenfold through the years to now encompass the entire base areas at Hunter Mountain, plus added tent space. Over 120 breweries were invited for 2016, representing well over 300 individual beers, offer everything from IPAs and lagers to weissbiers, doppel and trippel bocks, stouts, ales… pretty much any variety you know of, and probably a few that you don't.
